Good stuff Richard, I’m a social media consultant looking for business cards. Excellent timing for this post. :D
Thanks! I had you in mind when I wrote it;-)
Hopefully you’ll share the new design!
Great selection of interesting ideas. ‘Big Robby’ is a great idea – best of luck to keep ranked in the first page of google though. Seen any cards with 2D barcodes? Ive been playing with a barcode when scanned adds your details to the contact sheet – then click save. Needs a scanner though.
Great post! ill save it to rework some of the ideas for my next card.Nice one!
Agreed with the 1st page issue! The bar code would be cool, I suppose you’re limited to Android and iPhone 3GS phone at this time so QR codes would probably be a better bet. If anyone could jump in here, be my guest!
Thanks for the comment!
Great ideas! I’m in process of updating right now…
Thank for this. Will help my branding process!
Love the examples! Here’s one for turning your business card into a marketing machine http://www.kevin-maher.com/Contact.html
The website is under construction but the business card is up and can utilize mobile marketing right into it!
there’s some great ideas there, I reckon if one social media outlet is put one card might increase traffic, too much may be too much unless its for the very technologically minded
You should check out XeeSM.com.
It’s even easier to collect your various social media sites under one roof, like so: http://www.xeesm.com/EtienneHardre/
Easier to fit on a business card too!
